Venice Beach

The public space that I choose for this writing assignment is Venice Beach. It is the ultimate California public space, it includes a beautiful beach, along with other entertainment. Entertainment such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, theaters, shopping and art galleries. This public space lets people enjoy California to its fullest extent. Venice Beach offers everything in a public space. Many Californians enjoy this public space but is also welcome and visited by tourists. All kinds of people can enjoy this space. There are beach activities such as surfing and others such as shopping, dinning and looking at art galleries. Venice Beach is open to everyone and isn't exclusive to anyone in particular, but like many places in southern California, the homeless aren't exactly welcome. The purpose of this space is to be a casual and fun places for Californians and visiting families to come and enjoy the beach life. It offers everything you could want in a public space and isn't exclusive so you get the sense that everyone is welcome.

    Venice Beach is alot of fun, there are alot of bums and hobos there. They are my favorite people to talk to when i visit the Beach.

    Venice beach is the perfect definition as a public place because everyone is welcome there and they do not kick anyone out just because of the way they look, like the street performers, the people selling goods and even the homeless people.

    What kind of stores and restaurants are in Venice Beach? Also what kind of people go there? Anyhow, I agree Venice beach is a great place to go. All sort of people go the that certain beach.

    I agree with you. Venice beach is a great public space that is still beautiful even though it has become an extremely popular destination

    Venice Beach is an excellent public place. I have seen every type of person possible there. Any one is welcome, Venice Beach is a great public place to write about!

    You did a great job of analyzing this place for your public space. Venice Beach is an excellent place with all of the qualities that a public space should have. Great choice, it should be good to write about!
